The Devil’s Foot.

In this story Watson related us how Holms find the explanation for two murders case. This murders have relation with a dangerous and special poison.

This is the story about two murders. The first happened in a Trelew house and the second happened in Tredannick in the Roundhay’s house. Both crimes were revenges and both were made with a special african poison named Devil’s Foot.

One of them is made by Mr. Mortimer Tregennis because he wants to kill his brothers and keep all the money they have. In the past Mr. Mortimer had a quarrel with his brothers and he never forgot that problem so he decided use the powerful poison and kill them.
Mortimer stole little of Sterndale’s African poison.

The other crime was made by Dr. Leon Sterndale because he wanted to take revenge of Mr. Mortimer because he had killed his sister Brenda. And Sterndale had loved Brenda and some day he wanted married her. Sterndale was a traveler who use to live in Africa and he was the man who got the special poison in that continent.

In my personal opinion I think the Devil’s Foot is a good story because the author use some elements to make it interesting and attractive. For example he describe the murders really carefully and he make a suspense environment in the story. That is nice for the reader because you can imagine how the facts happens.

I like this story because I think the idea of introduce a strange poison, mysterious characters and nice places make a great story and the reader can think about the end and sometimes guess it before the author tell us.
